Information We Collect
ZakatSuite is built to function without collecting personal data. Two categories apply:
Information You Provide Voluntarily
- Donations: If you donate through PayPal, your payment is processed entirely by PayPal — we do not see or store any payment details.
- Contact messages: If you reach out through a contact form, we retain your message and email address only to respond to you.
Information Collected Automatically
- Server logs: Standard logs including IP addresses, browser type, and pages visited. Retained for up to 90 days for security and deleted thereafter.
- Anonymised analytics: Aggregate usage patterns — which calculators are used most, page views, session duration. No personally identifiable information.
- Currency & language preference: Stored in your browser’s local storage so settings persist between visits. Never sent to our servers.
How We Use Your Information
Any data we do collect is used only to operate and improve ZakatSuite. We never sell or trade your data.

Maintain uptime, fix errors, and ensure the Zakat calculators work reliably for all users.
Product Improvement

ZakatSuite is an Islamic financial tool for adult Muslims eligible to pay Zakat. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal data, please contact us and we will delete it promptly.

We may update this Privacy Policy to reflect changes in our practices, technology, or applicable law. When we do, we update the “Last Updated” date at the top of this page.
