The full Ramadan 2027 calendar for Toronto, Canada: Sehri, Sunrise, Dhuhr, both Asr times, Iftar and Isha for each of the month's thirty days, 8 February 2027 to Tue, 9 Mar 2027. Ramadan is expected to begin on Monday 8 February 2027 in Canada, subject to the sighting of the new moon, and to end with Eid al-Fitr around 9–10 March 2027. Day 1 in Toronto runs from Fajr at 06:05 to Maghrib at 17:38 — a fast of 11 hours 33 minutes — Fajr drifts 43 minutes earlier and Maghrib 38 minutes earlier between the two ends of the table. Every time is computed for Toronto by the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) method (America/Toronto). Elsewhere in Canada, longitude shifts the minutes; a local mosque timetable outranks this city table wherever the two disagree.
How to read the day in Toronto: begin it at Fajr (06:05 on day 1, drifting to 05:22 by day 30), end it at Maghrib, and let Sehri finish a few minutes before the Fajr figure as a precaution. Nothing is eaten or drunk from Fajr until Maghrib, and the fast it ends has lasted 11 hours 33 minutes growing or shrinking to 12 hours 54 minutes across the table. Break it, as the Sunnah teaches, with dates and water before praying. The drift is the reason the table exists row by row: Fajr moves 43 minutes earlier in total and Maghrib 38 minutes earlier, a minute or two at a time, which is why a printed time from the first week should never be reused in the last. Mark the table's last third: the odd nights beginning at Maghrib on 27 February, 1, 3, 5 and 7 March carry the search for Laylat al-Qadr, and in Toronto the 27th night — from Maghrib on 5 March — follows a day whose fast ran 05:27 to 18:12.

One calendar, four madhabs — and only one moving part. Fajr and Maghrib — the two ends of the fast — are not a madhab question in Toronto: all four schools fast from the same dawn to the same sunset. The printed pair on day 1 — 15:13 (Shafi'i, Maliki, Hanbali) and 15:54 (Hanafi) — encodes the classical shadow disagreement, and the table keeps both columns all month so nobody has to convert by hand. Choose your madhab once on the live page and the Asr column, the Today box and the downloadable PDF all follow it — the Sehri and Iftar columns will not change, because they were never in dispute.
For Jafari readers in Toronto, the live page carries a separate Jafari tab built from this same table. Following the customary precaution, Sehri is completed 10 minutes before Fajr and Iftar is taken 12 minutes after Maghrib: in Toronto on day 1 that is Sehri by 05:55 and Iftar at 17:50, and on day 30 Sehri by 05:12 and Iftar at 18:28. Where your own marja's ruling differs from the 10/12-minute convention, follow that ruling; the tab exists to make the common practice easy to find, not to settle a point of taqlid.
Dua at Sehri (intention): Wa bi-sawmi ghadin nawytu min shahri Ramadan — "I intend to keep the fast for tomorrow in the month of Ramadan." Dua at Iftar: Allahumma inni laka sumtu wa bika aamantu wa 'alayka tawakkaltu wa 'ala rizqika aftartu — "O Allah, I fasted for You, I believe in You, I trust in You, and I break my fast with the provision You have given." Keep both short duas by the table in Toronto: the first is said quietly with the intention before Fajr (06:05 on day 1), the second at the moment of Iftar, with dates and water, before the Maghrib prayer. In the last ten nights add the Laylat al-Qadr dua taught by the Prophet: Allahumma innaka 'afuwwun tuhibbul-'afwa fa'fu 'anni — "O Allah, You are Pardoning and You love pardon, so pardon me."
How this Toronto calendar was calculated: every time is calculated for Toronto's coordinates (43.65, -79.38) in the America/Toronto time zone, using the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) method — the convention customary for Canada. Times are printed to the minute, as calculated; a one-minute precaution at Sehri and Iftar is a long-standing local practice in many communities, and your mosque's timetable — which may already include it — takes precedence in any close call.
Why thirty rows when Ramadan may end at twenty-nine? Because the month is completed at 30 only when the Shawwal crescent stays unseen on the 29th evening. The table prints all thirty so both endings are covered: an Eid announced in Canada after 29 fasts retires the last row unused, and its 18:16 Iftar in Toronto never happens. Conversely, if your community begins Ramadan a day later than the expected 8 February 2027 start, shift every row by one day. And where another timetable disagrees with this one, expect the difference at Fajr (06:05 here on day 1) or Isha (18:59), the two times the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) angles govern, rather than at Maghrib, which every method reads straight off the sunset.
For workers on physical shifts in Toronto, plan around the month's shape: the fast in Toronto runs from 11 hours 33 minutes at its shortest (day 1) to 12 hours 54 minutes at its longest (day 30), and your own situation — illness, medication, pregnancy, travel — may carry a ruling of its own. The exemptions, and the Fidya and Qaza that follow from them, are covered in the guides linked below; when in doubt, ask a scholar rather than abandoning the fast or harming your health. May Allah accept your fasts, your night prayers and your giving this month.
The expected first fast in Toronto is Monday 8 February 2027, pending the moon sighting that confirms it. Should the start be announced a day later, the month begins a day later and every date in this table shifts by one day — the times themselves, computed for Toronto, barely move between neighbouring days.
Sehri on the first day in Toronto must finish by Fajr 06:05 in Toronto, and Iftar is at Maghrib 17:38. From that Fajr, nothing is eaten or drunk until Iftar — a fast of 11 hours 33 minutes. Across the thirty rows the Sehri deadline travels from 06:05 to 05:22, which is why the table prints every day separately.
This calendar uses the Islamic Society of North America (ISNA) method, which is the convention customarily used for this part of Canada. Under this method, day 1 in Toronto opens at Fajr 06:05 and closes at Maghrib 17:38. Communities and mosques occasionally adjust by a minute or two for precaution, so treat your local mosque's timetable as final where it differs slightly. A branded PDF calendar for Toronto, in the madhab you select, can be downloaded from the live version of this page.
Asr is where the madhab choice shows up in Toronto's table — Sehri and Iftar do not change. On day 1 the Shafi'i, Maliki and Hanbali Asr is 15:13, while the Hanafi Asr is 15:54 — 41 minutes later. The Shafi'i, Maliki and Hanbali position starts Asr when the shadow matches the object's height; the Hanafi position starts it when the shadow reaches twice the height, which is why the Hanafi time always falls later. Follow the madhab you normally pray by, and use the same column all month so your Taraweeh and Iftar routine stays consistent.
In Toronto the month peaks on day 30: 12 hours 54 minutes from Fajr 05:22 to Maghrib 18:16 (Tue, 9 Mar 2027). Day 1 lasts 11 hours 33 minutes and the last day 12 hours 54 minutes, with the shortest fast — day 1, 11 hours 33 minutes — in between. If Ramadan completes 30 days where you are, the final evening's Maghrib is followed by the night of Eid; if the new moon is sighted a day earlier, Eid falls a day sooner and the final row is not used.
Jafari practice in Toronto is shown separately on the live page: stop eating 10 minutes before Fajr, and break the fast 12 minutes after Maghrib. For Toronto on day 1: Sehri 05:55 and Iftar 17:50. By day 30 those precautionary times have moved to 05:12 and 18:28. The main table itself is unchanged — it prints the Fajr and Maghrib every fiqh starts from, and the Jafari figures are a clearly labelled adjustment to those two moments only; Asr, Dhuhr and Isha are not moved.
